Bio


Laurel Schwulst is a designer, writer, and webmaster. She likes thinking about animals, public space, ambiance, writing and websites, naming and names, free thinking, calm technology, boring mystery, animism, wind, and joy. She lives in New York.

Earlier this year, she released Flight Simulator, a novel travel app published by Soft Applications, which is having two exhibitions this summer at pe hu in Osaka and archive bomm in Seoul. In the fall, she will teach a course called "Writing as Metadata" at Yale and design an exhibition for the online Left Gallery at Stroom Den Haag. Previously, she worked at The Creative Independent as creative director.
