Bio
I'm an artist, designer, and writer. I run Beautiful Company, a design practice. I also teach at Yale and Rutgers. Sometimes I program and produce content with the online Left Gallery.
Previously, I was the creative director of The Creative Independent, Kickstarter's online publication. Before that, I worked at the design studio Linked by Air.
My book Perfume Area, co-authored with Sydney Shen, (Ambient Works, 2015) contemplates thirty-six designer fragrances. Most recently, I released an ambient travel app Flight Simulator (Soft, 2019), "an ode to airplane mode."
